JESUS SAID, "LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME TO ME..."
Matthew 19:14
At Cary Presbyterian Church, our goal is for children to know that they are loved by God, no matter what. Partnering with their families, we strive to bring up children knowing, loving and living out the Good News of Jesus Christ.
FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN
Sunday Afternoons 5:00-6:15 PM
Rooms 220 & 222 Children in Preschool-5th grade will use lessons from a variety of sources including PC(USA)'s Follow Me curriculum and Growing in God’s Love curriculum based on the story Bible of the same name. We focus on story telling and how we can follow Jesus by learning about different faith practices. It’s through the stories of the Bible that we get to know God, the things Jesus said and did, and ourselves as beloved children of God and as members of the faith community. Because age groups are mixed, we use a variety of teaching methods to engage children of all ages.
Child Care 9:00-11:30 AM
Room 221 Dedicated staff members provide consistency in care for children of any age during the adult Faith Formation hour (9:15-10:15.) During the worship service (10:30-11:30) childcare is provided for infants and toddlers up to age 3.5.

Vacation Bible School
During the summer, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an amazing, faith based experience for elementary aged children. Children learn about serving God in fun, engaging ways, including bible storytelling, crafts, music, science, recreation and mission projects. Dates/times are planned to allow for children in both traditional and year-round schools the opportunity to join us. Typically, the program runs on the Wednesday evenings in June.
