Session News in a Nutshell - April 2025

Session met in a stated meeting on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The following business was transacted:

• The Session voted unanimously for CPC to become a More Light congregation, making a commitment to “center and celebrate the lives, gifts, and leadership of LGBTQIA+ people in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and beyond.” A More Light Team was established that will work with other groups within the congregation to more fully express these goals
• Appalachia Service Product has 43 sign-ups for this summer.
• The rebate for the church solar installation has been received.
